Begin with
the form itself.

A common construction begins with thirteen equal circles arranged as one centre, six around it and six extending outward. Straight lines connect their centres, revealing overlapping triangles, hexagons and two-dimensional projections associated with regular solids.

Drawing conventions vary. Some versions connect every centre; others select a quieter set of lines. The resulting figure is a planar network rather than a three-dimensional cube.

02 · History & Tradition

Keep the wonder.

Metatron appears as an exalted angelic figure in strands of Jewish mystical and apocalyptic literature. The diagram now called Metatron’s Cube belongs to modern esoteric art; surviving ancient texts do not present this exact figure.

Honouring the distinction lets both inheritances shine clearly: the angel within religious history, the geometry within sacred art’s living evolution.

03 · Meaning Today

A symbol becomes
a living mirror.

Modern practitioners receive the figure as a sign of integration, protection and balance — a lantern revealing simple structures inside apparent chaos.

Its many paths offer a gracious teaching: order can be spacious. A strong pattern may hold a thousand journeys without imprisoning one.
